1. We reviewed and discussed LMC S.T.A.R. rules and the class routine.
2. We looked for library books and found over $10,000 worth of new books!
3. Everyone checked out books.
1st and 2nd graders completed an "All About Me" Kidspiration activity.
Below is Mrs. Baumert's "All About Me" example.

Can you tell I like to read? I also like to find information using books and computers while I am at school. I enjoy playing volleyball, listening to piano music, using computers, and eating Mexican food. I have 4 daughters, one husband, my mother and a dog who live with me. I am good at volleyball, cooking and using computers. I do not like snakes and rats.
Can you find the picture that is used in school, things I like and things I am good at?
Can you make a personal connection between things I like and things I am good at?
Practice making your own "All About Me" Kidspiration and then writing about yourself. Feel free to post individual or class writing samples. That way, I will be able to get to know each class and students at Smith School a little bit faster.
3rd, 4th and 5th graders participated in the "Dewey Decimal Classification Tour".
